When they built this spur to connect to the main line, they included a bike/walking trail beside the tracks. Westland is located north of Washington and southwest of Cecil. We will meet at 9:00 a.m. in the main parking lot and carpool. We will drive to Westland to begin the hike from that end of the trail. The trailhead is about a 45 minute drive. We will hike about two miles uphill and return by the same path. It should take about 2 hours. The trail has very few trees so be prepared to bring a hat and sunscreen.
