BHCC's Got Talent Update

Saturday, October 22

6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

The news is out! We've got lots of talent, and aspiring performing and visual artists, within our midst. Many of our congregation members and friends have hobbies that bring them joy that they may not yet have shared with us. And October 22 is the day to share and celebrate. Whether you are a dancer, singer, an instrumentalist, a magician or any of a number of other performers, we invite you to sign on for this season's "BHCC's Got Talent".

If there are any Bob Ross's in the group, you are also encouraged to share your artistic talents. Maybe you are a ceramicist, a photographer, a knitter, or a wood carver. Perhaps your kids made some mean potholders at summer camp. You may select one or two of your artistic or crafty productions that will be displayed in Fellowship Hall. If you are multi-talented, you are encouraged to enter in both categories!

We are pleased to announce that Darenda Lease will serve as our Master of Ceremonies for the evening. Our distinguished panel of judges will include Rick Jacobs, Jean Miewald, and Ruth Robbins. Performers are asked to keep their acts to no longer than 3-4 minutes. We'll plan to use the Fellowship Hall stage and display space, and refreshments will be provided.

Watch for sign up sheets at church and online. So far, there are three people we know will be sharing their talents with us. We need YOU! The Events Committee anticipates that this will be an evening of fun, but perhaps more importantly, an opportunity for us to get to know one another better. Please plan to join us as either participant or as a member of what will be a very supportive audience.
