On September 7, 2024, 3 members of Bower Hill hiked on the North Country Trail. We started at the Watts Mill Road entrance and hiked 2.1 miles toward Ohio. It was a perfect day weather wise with temperatures more like early October. The trail has some climbs but was fairly flat once you got on the ridge. We were the only ones on the trail. When we returned to the car, we checked out the nearby bridge which was blocked by large stones. Apparently, it's an historical landmark that they refurbished including a new deck but is limited to pedestrian traffic. |
