On June 4, 2022, 5 members of Bower Hill hiked some of the trails at Raccoon Creek State Park. We started at the ranger’s station and hiked a short distance to the Forest Trail. The beginning part of the trail was quite muddy but quickly the trail became a very nice trail through the woods. After a fair amount of up and down hiking we came to the Lake Trail. The trail was all downhill to the lake. We followed the trail along the lake where there were a good number of people kayaking and swimming. After another the mile or so we were back at the ranger station. The weather was great, cool for the uphill part and warming up toward the end of the hike.
